CommercePros Continues to Transform Oracle Commerce Learning at Insight 18

By: Jesse Howard, Director of Marketing and Operations

CommercePros, the Oracle Commerce User Group, hosted Oracle Commerce professionals from around the globe at the second annual Insight conference held at the Embassy Suites Downtown Denver July 30-Aug. 1. This year’s event grew by nearly 80 percent in brand attendance to showcase eCommerce trends, Oracle Commerce best practices, in-depth keynotes and an expansive exhibitor showcase.
Playing off this year’s theme of “Connect,” the more than 150 attendees had chance to connect around campfires at Camp Insight, meet with the more than 20 exhibitors and sponsors and hear from more than 45 presenters on topics varying from search and SEO to headless architecture and personalization to general best practices and future trends.
While having the opportunity to connect with peers is key to Insight’s success, the conference boast four keynotes that allowed attendees to learn more about emerging commerce trends. Bob Meixner shared Oracle’s vision and current trends on Adaptive and Artificial Intelligence in the opening keynote while Gary Kirschner shared the latest news and insights into the Oracle Commerce (ATG and Endeca) and Oracle Commerce Cloud platforms. TAISTech was joined by Petmate, Things Remembers and The Vermont Country Store on the mainstage to talk about the transition from ATG and other legacy platforms to Oracle Commerce Cloud. On the final day of conference, Gerald Heath, an industry commerce leader, took the mainstage to share the latest trends in Single Page Applications.
Insight 19 will be held at the Hilton Austin in Austin, Texas Aug. 26-28. More information can be found at
